So, this drink has secretly been my weekend turnup drink since the lockdown. I have made it a couple of times! Hence the almost empty pineapple rum bottle. I had to restock on my coconut rum as I use that one as well to make fun drinks and cocktails on the weekend.
This Rum punch is yummy and full of tropical flavors. It is EASY to make at home and is perfect if you are hosting a “Caribbean themed brunch” or any gathering at your house.
I have made so many different versions of rum punch before and I think this is one of my favorite juice combinations. Every sip will have you feeling as though you are on a beach in a beautiful topical island! A classic Rum punch recipe usually consist of rum (dark, light or coconut or even a combination thereof) fruit juice and sometimes grenadine for color if you want to make a tropical rum punch.
I love to add just a small amount of sparkling water to my rum punch because the nectars are a bit sweet and dense. However, you do not need too much as you will be adding ice. I love lots of ice in my rum punch, so I tend to make it a bit more on the sweet side.
And…. the great thing about the Rum punch recipe is you can use the leftover nectar to make fruit punch for the family, so nothing goes to waste.
