If you’re a seafood lover, then you will absolutely love this pasta recipe! There’s something undeniably luxurious about a seafood pasta that combines not just one but four different kinds of seafood. This recipe is packed with shrimp, tender squid, rich lobster, and topped with a perfectly pan-seared salmon fillet.

Perfect for a special meal, whether you be treating yourself or creating an impressive date night at home. Be prepared for endless compliments. My husband savored every mouthful with comments like ‘salmon seared to perfection’, ‘absolutely amazing’, and ‘creamy and delicious’. Follow the recipe below for the most mouthwatering combination of shrimp, lobster, and squid folded within creamy pasta and topped with seared salmon.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp or lobster to avoid chewy seafood.

  2. I seasoned the salmon heavily with black pepper but feel free to adjust to your liking.

  3. The sauce may appear too much at first but as the pasta sits the sauce will thicken ending up in the ideal consistency.

  4. The salmon can be cooked with or with-out skin, whichever you prefer.

  3. 3Add the salmon (skin-side down) to the pan. Sear for about 3 minutes on both sides, depending on thickness.

  1. 1In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions, garlic, and bell peppers for 5 minutes.
  2. 2Pour in the heavy cream, then season with paprika, creole seasoning, and cajun seasoning. Cook the sauce for 5 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning accordingly.
  3. 3Then add the lobster, shrimp, and squid and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4Stir in the cooked penne and mix very well.
  5. 5Add the chopped parsley and cook for 1 min.
